That's my biggest fear about signing up.....no truck or trailer to get me back home. 4+ hours each way for me.

I am a 6 speed but I am running a MWC 9. I know its not a good thing to break parts I have been there also but everybody likes some carnage from now and then.

I dont really like to see people break parts, because Ive been there! LOL

10 bolt here as well :nod: and on top of that it's also my ride home (1900 miles round trip :eek:) after racing. :nono:
But with only 335rwhp (probably less now) and stock gears I'm not too worried. :D

Mine blew up last year at the shootout. Sticky tires 6 speed and 10 bolt don't mix very well.

Don't worry about it. There will be a lot of locals in attendance that keep spare parts and are willing to help.

I live about 20 minutes from Gateway.

I had to haul a friends home on a roll back a couple of weeks ago. There was about 10 of us going to a car show and he knew it was going out. He couldnt resist pushing down on the old loud pedal. He was the lead car and all of a sudden he stop moving and you would hear the motor rev and then a bang and the car would shack and move a little and it just kept doing that. :eek2::eek2: Had to go get the roll back to get him home. Oh well time for another MWC in town. In a town of 2000 people there is 3 Fbody cars with MWC rears soon to be another MWC or 9 inch im sure.

penningta, I have been looking into the MWC rearend and i was hoping you can tell me how long it took 2 install/how much did it cost if you don't mind ?I have been told its a 4 hour job if there are no serious issues.

You could probably do it in 4 hrs if you busted your ass and had done a few before. I have put 3 in now but normally had a lot of guys hanging around and we do a little bull shitting and things like that. Normally takes us about 6 hrs or so. But we normally take a lunch break and shit like that. The one took a lot longer because it was a narrowed rear end. Had to cut out the inner fenders and bfh them. Put strange drag breaks on it. That all takes more time. But its not that hard.
Eric and the guys are good people to deal with. As far as price that all depends on what options you get. Eric wont sell you anything you dont need that is for sure. Any other questions just shoot me a pm and I would be more than happy to answer. As far as install price if that is what your asking. I am part owner of a shop and do it on the weekends for some of my good friends that have helped me out a bunch. We did kind of a barter thing. They help me I help them.
