Yea i got you check out:
www.autotrader.com
www.craigslist.com
www.crazedlist.org
Now to be nice heres some around the midwest, theres a lot more that are auto BTW and if you want it to really be cheap buy a crashed one and fix it.

http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/1887847658.html
Also find ones at dealers and offer them close to those prices. Sometimes they will say no but they will call back, and if you dont mind higher mileage there are many 6.0s under 10 grand, a few 6 speed ones just sold locally, and there are a few auto ones still for sale for less then 10 grand. But once again buying one and fixing it will come out even cheaper then those, and if you want really cheap thats what you should do.

WOW, 16,000 is pretty cheap of an 2006 and you want one for a lot cheaper? Better call on the salvage yards, most guys owe more than your willing to pay.
Street price for an 2006 with 30K miles is 18K.

I paid 17.7 for my 23kmile M6 goat with factory warranty from a dealer in early 2009, clean title one owner no accidents, and i settled for it since i was in a rush and it was local.
And it wasnt even as good of a buy as my 05, ALSO from a dealer.

High mileage 6.0s have been under 10 grand for a while now both A4 or M6.
The ones on CL are probably selling for a bit over what they were offered on trade in.

I'd list mine for 20K, but it is a lot cleaner than most I have seen. I sold my 98 ws6 in 2009 for 10K when similar 2002's were selling for less, all in the buyer and seller. Some buyers will pay a premium for a cleaner car. A non salt driven car vs a northern car shifts the price point in my opinion as well, and M6 cars go for more than automatics on the used market, and wholesale. Where you live has a big price factor, this is the time to buy a car like this up north.
The last 2006 M6 that went through the local dealer auction pulled 19K with 4xxx miles, and previous to that the 2006 with 43xxx miles pulled 17K, so the street price of 18K is not unrealistic for a 30K mile car our local market.
