Talking everyday?

What would be a good setup for an everyday driver with the ocasional trip to the track. I have a 98 camaro ss a4

What do you mean by 'setup'? As this is the Auto Trans Forum, I'm guessing you're refering to torque converters?

yes,i'm tailking tc and shift kit. Also could you please give me some advice on a good tranny cooler.

Tons of TCs make good every-day driver setups. I would recommend doing a search on that, because the info about TCs is almost endless

Many people use the TransGo shift kits, they are very complete and work well.

As for trans coolers, I like the B&M Supercoolers. Many guys use the 19K-24K sizes, but I'm doing just fine with a 16K and it was easier to fit where I wanted to put it.

I have a TCI SSF 3500 and B/M 24K supercooler, It is just right for the street, wish i had gone bigger now

the tranny cooler is fine, I wish I had gone bigger with the converter. the converter was fine at the begining but with the cam especially i wish i would have gone bigger. A 4 grand would be good, espcially if its getting a cam or not a daily driver

Does anyone have pics of where they mounted their cooler?? I just bought the Racing Super Cooler today and my car is at the shop so I can't look at it for now.
