Well my friend's car had a little problem. His driveshaft ended up falling out of the pinion yoke going around 128mph. Well he ended up getting a new driveshaft, and we went to go replace it.. Lifted the car and noticed that the trans was swaying side to side. So we pulled it out and noticed the whole bellhousing cracked off.. Would there be any other problems that could have caused this minus the driveshaft falling out??

That would be enough to do it. The bell housing on those is similiar to an egg shell. Strong enough to do what is intended, but will crack/bust if stressed from too much vibration or flex.
