Racer's Lounge - Man jumps from a 39 story building in NYC and survives thanks to a...Dodge Charger?

This 22 year old jumps off a building trying to commit suicide and lands on a 08 charger, appearantly the car broke his fall and he survived.

39 stories is pretty ballsy. That's about 6-8 seconds freefall time, which if he had any skills would be just enough time for him to have some aim :jest:

I'm not a huge religious person but stuff like this makes me wonder if someone upstairs slowed him down right before he hit the window. Isn't that close to 400ft?

I believe so, I think it's like 10 feet per story. So that would be roughly 390 feet, give or take.

I can see him racking the pump and ejecting the shell, then putting the shell back in the chamber, placing the barrel under his chin only to pull the trigger with the safety on.

He'd then take the safety off, pull the trigger, and proceed to blow some of his face off and injure his hands cause he put a 20 gauge shell in a 12 gauge gun.

I was in a class with a CSI tech and he was telling me about how one time they got a suicide call where a guy had shot himself in the head twice. Yes, twice. It was a low caliber pistol and what had happened was he aimed the gun too slanted the first time. The bullet traveled under his scalp and around/over his skull. Next shot was a little more perpendicular and that did the trick.

I do that shit in Grand Theft Auto and can't even survive. I give props to that guy

Jumping out of a building in Manhattan is such a dick way to commit suicide. What if that had been a person that broke his fall instead of that car? It would be even more fucked up if he killed the person he landed on and then he lived.
