need some good opinions on the setup im doing: MS4 and LS6 heads: numbers???
hey guys im curious to know what kind of numbers ima gonna be puttin down to the ground once i get my heads/cam done on my 2002 ws6. my setup goes as follows: MS4 cam, stage 2.5 LS6 heads from TSP, underdrive pulley, FAST 90mm. i already have full exhaust, intake, bigger injectors and built top end, like rods, lifters, springs, oil pump, ect..... anyway do i have a shot at some 500 numbers here ? would they put me in the mid 11s i have 3.73s also. any input is welcomed and accepted.
thx guys,

You could easily run mid 11's if you have some suspension work and the drive mod. As far as power goes, I would guess 450-460 to the rear tire, depending on the dyno.
I had stock LS6 intake, 799 heads, Mid length headers, P&P TB, MS4, stock pulley and made 420 to the rear tires.

500rwhp on a h/c car is elusive, takes some serious planning and thought. A set of AFRs that have been 'mamofied' along w/ a custom spec'd cam are far more likely to net you that 500rwhp. I would say just do your h/c and hit it with some nitrous. Makes for a nasty street car, lemme tell ya

I would guess 450rwhp with the ls7 clutch and 12 bolt. That extra 50rwhp to get to 500 will start getting very expensive. It would most likely be the same price for a nice 550rwhp 408ci engine to bring a stock LS1 to 500rwhp.
