Even if it does rain I doubt it will be for all day. Pop up thunderstorms are very occassional and at most last for 20 minutes, and thats even if it does rain.

Watched the weather today and theres a small system that should be here around wednesday. It looks as though the weekend will be good. The front is only suppose to be scattered showers with a few pop up thunder storms.

There is a 60% chance of showers on Friday and 50% on Sat. Looks like Sunday will be clear.

Is there a re-schedule date? I know nobody wants to talk about rain which will keep people from coming, but the forecast looks dismal. Looks like a real wet pattern through the Midwest. What are the plans in the event of no racing on Friday and not much racing getting in on Saturday - event cancel, rain date, postponed, reorganize, punt, etc.?

What is the parking like? Is it all paved or is it in the grass/mud? Haven't been there in years, I remember alot of paved lot but wasn't sure how much it can hold.

Hey Steve I will call you but the official word is that the race is on, might have to work around the weather a little bit here and there, but we have the whole track all weekend. I know last year at the LSX Shootout the schedule got really messed up but that was also because they had over 500 cars racing of which we about a quarter of that. In this case we have the whole track and even if we hit 200 cars we will be fine.

Beech Bend is almost all paved. They can handle 200 cars without a single problem all on paved surface. The forecast has changed 3 times since last weekend. Right now showing 40% on Friday and Saturday with 0% on Sunday.

Dalton, I'm rolling down with lastls1 and smokn95ta (sp?) from IL, I'm guessing Friday nite we'd hang out for a bit, and then at night if there is a impromptu gathering at the host hotel we'd check that out or just f around. :)

I have made the drive in the distant past with some hooligans (Todd, Nine Ball, Rob R) to Club Paradise but it was far and I'm gonna help Andy. :)
