Default Need Help Fast! Opti Issue

So I just replaced my opti and everything was going good, hooked everything back up but then it didnt start. It will crank, but the engine wont even turn over at all. I have checked to make sure the battery cables are connected, the two plug ins on the top of the opti are on, along with the bottom two vent hoses. All of the spark plug wires are tight on the opti... . I dont know what else it could be. I need to fix this in a hurry though cause I need to drive the car back to school tomorrow.

Check ICM, coil and opti harness plugged in, also make sure whatever been disconnected is connected. If the ground wire was removed, make sure it's back on.

Double check spark plug wires in right order.

Last thing i can think of is if the cam dowel pin in the right slot.

did the opti go back on nice and easy or did it seem like it had to forcefully tighten its self against the block ,,as if it was forced your rotor might be 180deg. out of alignment, your opti harness might not be making good contact in one of its 2 plug connections....it is safe and always a good idea to try and start motor before putting the water pump back on to see if it fires and runs ,a few seconds wont hurt anything....IMO

The opti seated up to the block easily. We tried 5-6 times before we got it to seat up good. We have checked all the basic wires and plug ins, i will check again of course but I dont know what it is.

It will crank, but the engine wont even turn over at all.

What does this mean? You contradict yourself here...

I mean the ignition will crank, but the car wont even come close to starting. It never sputters or fires at all. Its kinda hard to explain. Do you get what I mean?

Sorry, but when someone says the engine cranks, I assume it means the motor physically turns over.

Double check the plug in the top of the opti, on both ends. That wire isn't very long, and you might have disconnected it from the wiring harness by accident.
