hey guys i just bought a new camaro. I think i got a good deal on it but wanted some other opinions. Its a 2001 SS SLP. Title is clean, it had 10,400 miles when i bought it. Pictures in my profile im not sure how to post them in the thread. I paid 16,500 for it. Its s 6 speed, Power everything, leather, t-tops. Let me know what you guys think and what you guys think its worth. Oh im from Mass also if location changes anything. Thanks

A clean title 10,000 miles LS1 car for $16,500 is an EXCELLENT price!! I don't care where you buy it. If the car is like new (and it should be with those miles) you did real well. One bit of important advice, and I'm not implying that you don't know this already, is to replace the tires if the originals are still on them. I know it is very difficult to throw out tires that still have 'lots of tread' on them but these modern tires just tend to 'lose it' after the 6 year mark. Almost every manufacturer has this on their web sites. It isn't a sales pitch but very real. If you have NO intentions of driving hard or hitting 75+ mph for sustained periods on the highway then maybe you can make them last another year or so. They still can fail! I reluctantly replaced my original Goodyear GS-C tires from my '01 T/A with only 13,000 miles on them two years ago. I bought new Goodyear GS-D3 tires and the difference was incredible, from handling to the comfort level. The peace of mind is nice. Enjoy your ride!!

Sounds like a good deal. FWIW I bought my car 3 years ago with 10,5XX miles on it. I paid 19.5 for it and regret it almost every day, ha. I had a clean 99 Z28 with 60k miles on it that I sold to get this car. This car has caused me nothing but problems as of late but that's what I get for modding it. I love it though!
Good luck with yours and enjoy it!

Thanks for the advice, i didnt even think about that with the tires. Yeah there are not many camaros from where im from so all the prices are a little high. There are ls1's with 50,000 and people wont go under 12,000 for them. And that's private forget a dealer. They want 14+ with that many miles. I plan on keeping it pretty much stock. Iv enjoyed it so far and i have wanted one for a while.
