Default ok im a little bit confused about rockers can someone help me

i have 1.8 harland sharp rockers in the car now i was told to go with a 1.7 yella terra rockers with my current set up whats the different between the two

Well since no one will answer your question

Besides them being two different ratio's and brand.

The 1.8 ratio rocker arm will give you more lift meaning it will push your intake and exhaust valves further down than a 1.7 ratio rocker arm will.
So if you have changed your cam or have intalled milled heads they are saying you need to use the 1.7 ratio rocker arms to keep from having PTV issues.

The above was based on you saying my current set up which normally means you have done some kind of Modification to your engine.

An aggressive lobe like an X-ER doesn't play well with an increased rocker ratio and WILL cause valvetrain instability....

The Yella Terra's are lighter then the Harlands and as stated the 1.8 ratio may not work well with an aggressive lobe.
