hell ya it can. be sure it's running 100% before you go juicing it obviously, then just use a fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, WOT switch, colder plugs and maybe some 100 octane. the Mallory 685 ignition box is sick for LT1s with nitrous, it gives you a built in window switch, timing retard, rev limiter and so on... 150 shot is the most i would go, but it has definitely been done many times with no problems. hope this helps

i did it a few years back with no problems at all. my only suggestion would be to get a bigger fuel pump along with what everyone else said. i personally didnt have the retard box and window switch n stuff but if i did it again i would have them. DO NOT use any timing advance such as a programmer or any kind of power tuning. reason why i say the bigger fuel pump is once i put the fuel gauges and stuff in my car on the initial hit the pressure would drop way down i just got lucky to not tear anything up

Well, you gonna spray it or what?? I got all my parts ordered today, mine should be back on the road by the end of next weekend and I can finish hooking up my spray. I'm gonna start small, 100 shot. When I get greedy I will still have room to pill up. LOL.

nuh uh......I'm not buying that.
Your 60' has lots of room for improvement with nothing more than a set of drag radials. My daughter's stock suspended 3rd gen does 1.79-1.80 60's with the bonestock LG4 engine (150 whopping factory horsepower!) and a 90 shot. 4th gens can't be all that bad.
Practice with that 6 spd !!!
