Default fuel pump

okay well i got the fuel pump replaced in my car and car starts and runs my question is and it might sound stupid with stock pump i could hear it priming with this walbro pump i cannot here it priming at all i know it working cause car stays running is that normal though ?

Depends on the pump that was in there. This one is probably just quieter. I know a cheaper one from Autozone, and the like, are generally noisier then stock ones.

I have a racetronix Fuel pump kit in my car (which is just a pre-wired walbro)

and i can hear mine prime, my stocker was quiter, but it was also dying... sooo...

My stocker was very quiet until I put the car back on the road for this summer. Thinking it might be 'headin south', I recently replaced it with a Bosch replacement pump. The new Bosch isn't as quiet as the 14 years old stocker was, but it seems to be getting a little quieter over time.
