lol.. there is nothing wrong with the opti. Not to mention, the Delteq still uses the optical sensor. So you're not eliminating much

I thought Delteq went out of business a long time ago...at least people complain of no technical support any more.

This site is mostly high school people. Or their brains never developed after. If you want a real site there are a few others that are much more friendly and the knowledge base consists of more than 5 know it alls.

I hear LTCC is a better option for most and people have less problems with them

Yes, the LTCC setup is better but why not go all the way? EFI Connections! It's more work, more money more to gain.

These COP setups offer very little over a properly working opti setup.

Had a delteq on my car and it ran great, ran into some problems when boosted though. I have an EFI connection LSX setup now, no more opti.

Delteq was the thing not too far back. I'm like another responder, if going that route i'd go EFI Connection w/ an LS1 PCM. I was ready to place my order for it myself but honestly decided to buy the MSD billet opti to stay in the LTX Extreme Street Class, which has to have an opti.

It's old news, don't get angry at us If you're just now discovering it and think it's cooler than Mac N Cheese.
Here's my opinion on it. It's nice, but offers no TRUE incentive to get it. It's expensive and as stated, it still uses the optical sensor.
The whole point of the Optispark, was for it to be compact and out of the way(and hopefully work). That kit clutters up the engine. It's kind of like the guys who run over the valve cover wire kits, it totally defeats the original purpose.

Imo go with Efi connection's 24x ls1 pcm conversion or stick with the OEM opti... Everything else is a waste imo! yes the delteq is old news and still uses the optical sensor.

You would be better served with a Delco unit than MSD. I would assume your desire is to go with the Vented conversion cap provided with MSD. I would think they should allow a standard vented conversion then.

Delco > MSD
