Default First time out in the new car

Took the T/A out to NSD last night and after letting her cool off for about half an hour, I made a few passes just to see what I could get out of her. Biggest problem was when I hit second gear, I got pretty loose and my 60' was ****, but ended up getting a couple 8.5x's in both right around 84mph so I'm pretty happy (should I not be? haha)

Here's a crappy iPhone4 vid of me racing a Formy

I maybe missing it, but what was your 60'? Either way, I would say that's about right for your mods. A4 or M6?

Stall? I see you have a tranny cooler but I don't see anything about a stall. If you get you some sticky tires and get your 60' down you would be looking good. But, not bad either way. Those times sound about right.

Used to have a stall in the old setup but not one in the new setup - just a TG Shift Kit

If I remember from some of your other post, you are in DFW area, right? What track do you run at?

I'd say it's good for the mods and time of year. As stated sticky tires will help ya out a bit.

Yeah - up in Frisco; going to try and take it out ot Ennis later this year or early next year while it's colder and hopefully pick up (or borrow) a pair of DR's before then to hook better.

Well, good luck.

You are probably looking at about a 13.6 or so out in Ennis if you run it the way it is. That's just my guess of course.

Using the 1.55*8th calculation that I've heard is pretty accurate, it's saying 13.2x's is a close guestimate - using the DA correction, it'd be 12.97 @ 107mph - no clue how accurate that is, but if I can't break into the 12's with DR's I'll be pretty dissapointed.
