On the road to SEMA the race car is coming along nicely. Just got the car back from MTK's Welding and Race Cars in Roselle, NJ. Let me just say they job they did was awesome!

They put in custom mini tubs and cut out alot of additional weight. I didnt do the mini tubs because of tire size, i did it cause they look cool  and knock some weight off.

Did mini tubs
Made custom gas filler neck
Fuel pump access door
Got rid of t top well
Got rid of spare tire well
Got ride of rear seat indents
Installed the Burkart Chute and put in the chute handle
And alot of small stuff i just didnt have time to do.

Can ya say 3000lbs race weight with driver :eek2:

Check it out !!!!

VERY nice Barry!!
Remember when we bought our cars brand new back in '98??
Pretty cool when a nice upgrade is done on the old sleds, especially one as significant as yours, 3000lb raceweight!! Awesome!!!!!! :thumb:

We all know, we need to stand far, far away when he races!

Barry, The car looks nice.

BTW - I am the original owner of my Camaro.
How was I left out?

How was I left out?You (and even Alex for that matter) might be considered just a little too late to the game, :) some of the 'old schoolers' go back to late 1998/early 1999.
I ordered my Z28 in November 1999 and took delivery on January 2nd or 3rd of 2000.

But your not fast and you don't have a bar either?

This is of course according to Mark.

If you bought a Fourth Gen new, then you are in the "club".
I don't care what the nurse says!
