cam/heads combo question

cam/heads combo question Been looking for a decent streetable cam for my stock internal LQ4, with an LS6 intake, ported TB & MAF for my 79'. Found that the popular choice would be to go with the TR224 114ls.
Questions are, would it definately be worth the money now to upgrade to a set of stock 243 heads? Or should I keep the 317's on there until I can get a set of ported 243's or 799's.
Second question is, can this cam be used with LS6 springs and LS7 lifters? Or will I need to go aftermarket on those as well?
