Gto engine wiring harness ?? Help Ok i have a 2004 gto a4 car i bought a t56 swap but the engine harness is from an 06 can i use this harness and not hook up the drive by wire and use my cable ... Or should i mod the 04 a4 engine harness to work with the t-56 swap if yes does anyone know how or know where i can find out thank you

ok the harness on your 04 is setup for the earlier type PCM with the dual plug, RED/BLUE system. The 06's are 6.0L and use an E38 PCM. You would be best off modifying your existing harness. I have seen a fair few hack togethers lately that resemble a spider web. So whatever you do, make it neat, clean and protect the wires accordingly.

Regardless he has an 04. It's a different ecu. The later E40s and 38s have the euro style harness plugs while the 04s have the typical GM bolt down affair. To the OP alot of people have done the conversion down under. Since the goat is commodore based I'll find you a write up on DiY
