Default coolant resevoir

okay so when i was relocating my battery i somehow managed to poke a hole in my coolant resevoir. i know it is a pressurized thing and i was wondering if i need a new one or if a few pieces of duct tape over the hole will keep everything okay...

its not pressurized, you could drill a nice round hole and tap it to pipe thread of the same size, then seal it with a pipe plug and some sealant. it would hold nicely in the plastic. as long as the hole your dealing with is not more like a tear or split.
