Default what heads? and to stroke the 346 or go 4xx?

well let me first off say i just sold my 455/412 H/C/I Z28 lsat month to a buddy and now somehow im back (didnt get a vette) and im looking for a WS6 to make the same power if not more on stock shortblock I'm willing to spend for 205/215-AFR's or get TFS or whatever it may be as long as i can unbolt them and put them on the 346 stroked or 4xx stroker and achieve the correct numbers.. the intake will be a ported 9x-102mm with TB.. kooks headers, u/d.. all supporting mods..

looking to hit 440-450/400+ on the stock shortblock with the heads/cam/intake then 510-520+/450+ with the stroked out 346 or 4xx

please chime in

My friend was looking at stroker kits and it seems like for the same money or maybe a little more you could go with a 6.0 block with more options.

thats what i had seen and still see generally i was just wondering if maybe there is something i was missing.. but i think the 408 would be that much more badass

guess my main focus is finding a head that will perform TOPS with a 408 but will give some decent-good power with the 346 for now

Checkout our PRC 227 heads. We offer them in small chambers for stock bores & they can be easily upgrade to larger runners when you upgrade engines. Nobody else in the market currently offers a small chamber 220s cc cylinder head I don't believe. This head will get you near stock p/v with a 2.06/1.60 valve combo & flow some healthy air even on the small bore. This is the same head setup that's currently on the TSP shop heads/cam record holding camaro.

Not to mention they're under $2000 without springs & $2200 with springs on special!!

go 6 liter block and stroke that. do the right thing and get AFR or TFS heads. Spend the cash one time and be done and happy. If you must go ls1 stroker my boys ls1 383ci with TFS 215 heads makes over 500hp to the tires on a stang dyno. Full weight camaro ss running 10.7's.
