Default what to use to plug pass side sensor hole on 241 casting?

I didn't realize this till well after picking up a set of ported heads but the heads can be swapped to either side of the engine. Both of the heads have the sensor port for the ets. What should I plug up the pass side with? I don't remember what my old 853 casting heads did for that or if they were interchangable.

Thanks for you help!

Buddy it's just a small plug with an allen key head. The same across every ls engine. Or if you have a spare, throw another coolant temp sensor in it to get bye

Your other heads should have the plug. If not, take your coolant temp sensor out and go to the hardware store with it. Have them match up the threads with a plug. It's a pipe thread I believe.

Or, to take the guess work out of it, grab GM part number 12553191

I would say aside from throwing a sensor in there. A Pipe fitting would be the alternative.

How? Its metric M12 x 1.5 threads. The only pipe thread fitting is an adapter for 1/8" NPT. Autometer makes one, P/N 2277, then you could use a 1/8" NPT plug.
