I just bought a 3-3 1/2 flowmaster merge and cutout. 3.5"s is a lot of pipe. I don't you will gain anything going to a 4" cutout. You'll just have less ground clearance.

You won't gain much going with an extra .5"... you'll make up the difference using your cut out

there will be no difference and even if theres it wont worth the effort specially you are having a cut out, that will cancel it out.

If you want to run open y-pipe I would get the 3-4 in. merge and run a turndown, but if your running a catback just run what you got.

only wiith the cut out closed right with the cut out open i see no need to spend an extra couple of hundred on a cat back or would it help even if the cut out is open

I have a stock catback too with a 3.5" cutout...i made no more power when pulling the catback on the dyno back to back, so it is doing it's job...

I do have the 3-4" flowmaster merge...then reduced back down to connect to the catback...I run open y pipe at the track with a v band connection...

Jonas you see the new numbers ...check out the dyno section
