Default Finally mounted my ZR1s

It took longer than expected for me to get all my parts installed on my car. Took it to CMJ Racing to get worked on with the help of 6LiterEater. I love how it looks, and rides. Finally I get off those WS6 wheels. I just used my cruddy point and shoot camera, but tell me what you guys think.

Loose the 4x4 look. The car is very clean. I'm guessing you were on a budget. I don't mean that in a bad way. I bought ZR-1's 5-6 yeas ago. They are cheap. Were you're WS6 wheels in bad shape? Polished? You might sell them if they are in good condition.

Im going to be ordering BMR lowering springs by the end of year. And the only reason why I went with the ZR1s was because ever since Ive been introduced to fbodys I always wanted a set. But I know this wont be my only set of wheels since I want a street setup aswell. And my WS6s were rather beat up, and one was bent which was another reason why I changed them.

LOL, I love how everyone always tells people to lower their car right outta the gate not even knowing how the roads are in the OP's area. Personally I'll never lower mine for 2 simple reasons. Better weight transfer at stock height & the roads are shitty enough around here I already bottom out sometimes at stock height. Lowering it would be like playing the waiting game for my exhaust to be destroyed.

I think it looks good as is man.

Very Nice!

Now the big question:

How much inner wheel well 'modifications' were required to get that wheel and tire combo to fit without rubbing?

Actually they would be, I bought them from Ninetres a couple months ago. Heres his car with them:

The inner well required beating, cutting, and welding, then trimming the bumpstop, 1/4" spacer, along with slightly cutting and rolling the fenders to get the wheels to fit.

BTW I would love the drop the car, but I live in southern california with rather cruddy streets, and freeways. Im already sketchy of the stock ride height since every bump and driveway causes rubbing. I do wanna atleast drop the front a bit, I just dont know how much yet. And thanks for the comments, I sure do get plenty of stares.

Are those rear tires really 325-45-17? The sidewall looks more like a 55 or even a 60 series.

It looks SAAWEEET! BADASS!
