Finally got 12s...
First run I didnt even stop to get the slip because I had street tires on and all I did was spin. Then swaped for the hoosiers and couldnt be happier with the tires. I circled my best stats of the night on the slips so I could keep track.

U can get more out of her.My black 02 SS i had before mine now went 12.61 @111 w/1.91 60ft w/ out a stall converter but that is a great improvment now put that Yank SS3600 stall in there so u can run some low 12's.

Yes, 12.61 seemed to be the best i could do but that was w/ Chrome 10 spokes and the front swaybar still in.The stall will atleast knock 1/2 sec. off your car so u should be good w/ one for 12.2- 12.00 somewhere but NED closes in 1 month right.

Yea,dont ruin it in the snow.I always put my Camaro's away and bought a winter beater to drive in the snow.It was well worth it. And after the winter we would have a demolision derby w/ our winter car and then scrap them.U should drive down to your Dads this winter and come to our track and get out of the cold.

Only changes are the weather, hoosiers, and I actualy threw the back seats back in a couple weeks ago (which is a disadvantage). The weather is deff the big factor.
I bought some used 275 40 17 hoosier drs for my zr1s. They are deff stickier than mt et st drs. The hoosiers are pretty much in the middle of the st drs and the mt bias ply. They are very light compairable to the biasply, very sticky, but they are just stable enough that your *** end dosent sway at high speeds which I like. Only thing I dont like about them is they are NOT made for the street so I have to change wheels after I get to the track. I may consider getting et st drs for my 17s next time just for the convenience factor.

Cooler weather should lop off another tenth or so. As mentioned, we get to run year round here (or almost). Best DA I've ever run in was -1200 DA, but Texas peeps have gotten -2000+ before...
