Oil Pan Bolts
I think I have searched pretty well and still have not come up with anything. Can someone please tell me the stats of the oil pan bolts on a 5.3? I am putting an Autokraft pan on and need to get bolts but don't know the thread size, pitch etc.
If anyone can tell me what length the bolts need to be for the Autokraft pan that would be swell too.
What is the right torque for the bolts, and torquing method?
Is any RTV needed?
Sorry for all of the questions and thanks for any replies,
Mike

M8 x 1.25 i believe, says torque to 19 ft lbs. not sure on the length of the bolts, there are longer ones for the bots that go into the rear cover. check out this file

look on page 171 of he file and it has a detailed write up on how to install the oil pan, this webpage has saved my *** more than once, the first part of the site is all the bolt hole specifications along with part numbers for almost everything.
