I just purchased a 99 SS and the car has a sensor telling it when the sun is going down and the headlights turn on automatically. I've tried everything and it doesn't say anything in the owners manual about it. How do i turn it off when the lights come on? is this even possible? I want to manually control the lights turning them on and off

unplug the light sensor on the top of the dash next to the red security light, and inserted a paper clip in it's place.
