this year ive been having some fuel issues with the camaro. think i got them sorted out now. ive been dying to get that ever so elusive 12 second pass. last week at the drags my best was a 13.09 before eliminations. now the temp did drop a good amount so i said "hell with it. ill dial a 12.98 and run it out the back door!". that round i ran a 13.06 and lost.
tonight was a different story. it was colder yet. 1st time shot i ran a 12.96. i was happy, thrilled to death even. the camaro ran between 12.96 and 13.00 during time shots. i put a 12.98 on the car because i added some fuel before 1st round. got all the way to the finals. i dialed a 12.97, i lifted toward the end and still ran a 12.89!!!
of course i lost. but DAMN! picked up nearly a tenth of a second. makes me wonder what it would of ran if i didnt lift. ill post pics in the morning as its almost 1am where im at and im tired and a little drunk.
