Default first passes at the track

not exactly what i thought she was gonna run, but it gives me something to build/tweek on. gonna go back for round two on OCT 1st. was only able to slip in three runs all on motor. when i was feeling like she was ready for a 150 shot they closed the staging lanes and called it a night, lol! just my luck!

What kind of 60' are you pulling. Trap speed looks real high for the ET.

1.72's, the biggest issue i had was only 5800-5900 rpm's at the traps. i shift at 6800 and really need it alot closer to that at the traps. i think the ati fuel/blown converter is just to tight for the motor only???

Back when I wasn't tuned, I was running 11.5-11.6 @ 118, so you might be able to get a few more tenths in the setup. 11.40s might be pushing it with that MPH.

Also, what tire combo are you using?

I know that converter is a 3600 but it sounds soft coming out of the hole. Is it setup for the N20? If so, you will see dramatic improvement in you 60' if you can hook on the juice. That's the problem I'm having with mine. It's a 3500 but it's way too tight for motor. I'm going to either have mine restalled or buy a different one after I go to the track the first time and see how this one acts. Is the car spinning at all?

thats the way i feel, to soft leaving and still needs more at the end. yes i had ati build the converter for a 200hp shot minimum. so i belive it's to tight for just the motor. i think i'm gonna give them a call monday. no tire spin that i could feel. i wish i had had the chance to spray it, but they shut down the staging lanes just before i got there to make a pass with the nitrous. i made the motor passes to just see how the car was going to play out with this totally new setup, before i put the nitrous to her ***. i was very worried i had to much gear or too small a tire to be able to make a full nitrous pass, but the converter may be right on the money ? we'll see the 1st of oct.

Not bad Chris for the first time out. MPH looks real good. What first gear do you have in the th400? If its the 2.48, consider raising your rear gear some. It will improve your 60' and get you at the top of your power band at the finish line (as long as you can hook it up). I cross the line at 6800 with a 2.48 first and 4:11 rear. I would see what she does on the bottle first and go from there.

thanx darrell! yes it has the 2.48 first. i'm running 26" tall tires too. what size are yours? i agree on seeing after some nitrous passes. i was really worried i had too much gear or to short a tire for the nitrous, but i may be ok? well shall see on the 1st. can wait! gonna use a 150hp shot to shake her down and if she likes that well throw the 200 jets in too

I run a 28" tall tire (325/50 dr). With a 26" you probably don't want to increase the gear. Thought I saw 275/60 for your tire size. Oops. Good luck with the nitrous.

Like stated before, great times for the first time out. I see it all the time on here people picking up over .3-.5 off there et by tweaking the setup. If it hooks on the spray I think you will see some high 1.4's on your 60'. Keep us updated on how she does.
