HPP showed this thing off in the past - can't recall exactly when - but, yes it does indeed look like the Banshee did infact become a 'Vette.

Incredible design for the 60's and would look impressive on the road 50 years later. I see some of the Opel GT in this car, especially the headlights. Very, very cool!
