Default s&p oil pan users please chime in

Looking at possibly ditching the retrolsx pan and doing the s&p oil pan, but want some feedback from people who have tried the pan.

I see they do not use a windage tray with it, will this be a problem for engines in the 450+hp range? Do you still use the stock baffling setup? How was the fitment (67-69 camaro or 68-74 nova) with the standard motor plates (not the 1" setback)

Did you have any problems bolting the motor in, any other issues?

Mine was for a 67 chevelle, they said a windage tray was not necessary although you can cut your existing one in half for the rear half , the new pickup tube they sent I had to flatten out a bit for it to fit correctly . I also used a girdle fitting on the pickup tube to the oil pump enabling the use of 2 bolts to hold the tube into the pump, 4000 miles so far , no issues .JOHN

It is deeper than I want in the front causing me to raise the motor. Not sure if I am going to get rid of it, but considering other options before I make anything permanent.
