I think if I was making 800RWHP and wanted to actually hook at the track (slicks) then I would invest in a C6Z rear end swap.

Regardless of what stage C5Z diff you're running there's still guys breaking them at the track - just look over on the vette forum. The C6Z diff is 8 7/8" vs the 7 7/8" on the C5. Also the diff case is beefed up on the C6Z plus the trans ouput shaft is 32 spline vs 27 on the C5Z if I remember correctly. It's no easy swap either. You need the rear cradle, differential and transmission from a C6Z plus some offset diff mounts and then have your exhaust cut and rerouted for a couple inches to make it fit. End product is a bulletproof rear end setup. Buying all the parts used and then selling your C5 diff and M12 trans will help.

Just get the C6Z rear end and go from there its bigger and will hold up a lot better. If your gonna do it, do it right the fist time and don't cheap out.

the problem is the c6z rear end need to cut the exhaust as the guys in other forum and need to get an M12 gear as the guy in the top says so i will see how much it will cost if a crazy price am going to change the idea and work on my old setup

thanks bro

The C6Z diff is fine but you will want to replace the long side axel and the half shafts. Other then that, the next week link will be the tranny..
