Default Disappointed over the past week

I have had a bad two weeks. First, two weeks ago, I went to Miland Dragway and ran the car about 5 times. It went 12.78, 12.62, 12.56,13.01 and 12.69. Mind you, the car has run a best of 11.82 and was normally in the 12.0's. This year, I put new adjustable shocks all around, new smaller tires and wheels up front and went to Hoosier QTPs in the rear. Motor wise, nothing was touched. Then went to Drag Week. Again, car was consistently in the 12.5, 12.7, to 13.01 and 13.02 for the 3 days I was there. Got into a conversation one night with a few guys and told them I had a severe rattle under the car and wondered if maybe part of the problem was it was being sensed by the knock sensors and was pulling back timing. On tuesday (9/14) I ran the car and it ran a 12.79 and 13.02. Some of this I am sure is my driving, I'm not going to deny that. I took the car to a town nearby and put it on a hoist and the pipe off the y pipe was completely up against the drive shaft loop. Put a huge chuch of tire between the two and zip tied it and went back to the track. Ran a 12.36. Ok that was a little better. I know I screwed up and went to a 28" tall QTP vs the 26" MT DR that was on it and therefore the 4:10 gear got a lot smaller. So off to Indy. On the way to Indy, I kept getting a major clunk from something that came from under the car. Yet I could find nothing loose. Turning into the hotel that night, It knocked under there 6 or 7 times. I thought something fell off the car. But again, nothing. Go to the track the next morning. No clunks yet. Make a run, 12.76. Make another run, 13.01. On the way to Indy, I stopped at Jegs and bought a set of MT ET Streets, 26 X 10.5. Figured that might help going back to the 26" tire. On the third run at Indy, I dropped the airpressure to 15 psi. Did a lengthy burnout, get up on the line (had the 2 step at 5000 rpm) dump the clutch and I thought the rims compressed the tires so much that the rims hit the asphalt. It just went BOOOM!! Go down the track go to the turn off road and BAM CLUNK,BANG,BOOM,CLUNK. It felt like it was hitting the floor particularly when turning. Get the timeslip and its a 12.78. Crawl to the pits and discover the posi carrier is gone, spiders broke, springs out, couldn't find another one in Indy nor a spool. I was done.

So, after all of that, can somebody guess as to why my et's were so high? How did I go from even 12.0 to high 12's like this. Was it the shocks, did they possibly throw the front end out of alignment a bit or have a bump steer issue, the rear end going or is the motor just on a downhill slide and needs refreshing. I was totally clueless and don't know where to begin. I did notice the rear end shifted to the left a bit, don't know why. I know I am going with a spool in the rear this time, but I have to decide if I want to stay with the 30 spline or go to 33 spline. But that's only one area, where else did I go wrong to make it go slower. Thanks

Oh, and besides the et being higher, the speed dropped from 118, 119 to 108, 109 highest was 111. What the hell happened?

Get the rear figured out and go back with the 26s and report back. Theres too many variables and broken and broken parts to know whats really going on..

Run over all the basics. Check to make sure all the plug wires are attached, check fuel pressure, pull the plugs see if any are fouled, I assume no ses light? Seems like its way down on power to me and if something is banging around that could cause issues with the knock sensors for sure.
