3.29's question
I am going to be doing this mod very soon (amongst others to the tranny) and was wondering if I would need to tune the PCM or TCS to accommodate the new mods to the tranny?

could I drive it to the place where I can tune it or would I need to tow it? I am having a local shop do the work. What type of symptoms will happen before i get it tuned? Hard shifts? Shuddering?

Would I need to take it to a place with a HP tuner or dyno? I have recently made a contact and he specifically does lsx tuning. I need to talk to him to see if he can do this type of work.

a local transmission shop that I have always taken my cars to when I have tranny problems. Unless any of you can recommend a builder in the KCMO area...

If your tuner uses HP Tuners, I have a file that only has the changes needed for the 3.29s. I've given it to others, and no one has complained. A couple different GPS systems have comfirmed that my revs/mile number is dead nuts.
You might like the stock shift points though. I'm running the stock 1-2, 2-1, 2-3, and 3-2 with the scaled the 3-4 and 4-3, and the transmission has a sportier feel to it.
