Default Degreed stock cam, exhaust duration high??

I just finished degreeing my stock ls1 (00) cam in my 5.3 for the 4th time now, and whatever method I do, my exhaust duration ends up at 226. I did it straight off the lifter (outside edge) twice. Was using .0295 lift at lifter for .050 cam specs.
Then mocked a head up w/ bolts and 2 jammed lifters, testing springs (actually old springs from my dirtbike clutch, work great) and my 1.85 intake/1.7 exhaust rockers. I'm getting 211 intake (with the 1.85, makes sense) but my exhaust keeps coming up with 225, 226 duration. Lifts is right at .491. Tried taking just the .050 measurement, going around the other way and taking the closing .050 (pulled the slack out on the pass. side) and get the same closing ramp .50 degree.

Anyone seen a stock cam with this duration numbers? the LSA is really wide, so I'm pretty sure its a stock cam.
