Default Hipsters transbrake

Having some trouble with my th350, 123 work great, brake works, but reverse only fully engages when it is cold. After it warms up you can feel it try to engage, but when you rev the motor it slips. It has a hipsters brake with reverse patter cast iron valve body. Please help!!

I have had that problem and it was caused by the ports in the case or valve body were not exactly the same size. In my trans it was the case. When the transmission shop drilled the holes in the case one was just a tiny bit different. Not a big deal dropped the valve body re drilled the holes cleaned and re assembled drove it for 3 seasons.
