Default Anyone have true duals with a bolt-on LT1?

Ok I know true duals would sound sweeeeeet on a worked engine but im working with just bolt ons currently. I have to get something because these exhaust leaks are driving me crazy. Does anyone have a sound clip on their stock LT1? Im not worried about it being loud, im worried about it being "ratty" (sounding half ***) if that makes sense.

Just pick your mufflers wisely and you will be fine

Well i was going to go with 2.5 summit x pipe, dynomax bullets dumped at the axles. I dont have cats, i have someone inspect the car without them, so emissions arent an issue. I just dont want the thing to sound like trash. Cause those mufflers dont look like they muffle any thing

Mine didn't have any rasp to it. Depending on how the tune is on the car you wont get too many fumes in the car

My friends dad's cousin owns an exhaust shop. He said you need back pressure or you will bend the intake valves.

Dont forget to check your exhaust bearings in the mufflers, they turn the compression baffles and if they go bad your engine could overheat.

All I did was run the y pipe open with a turndown. Sounded VERY good. Wasn't too loud either.

This is mine at idol and i have had no problems with exhust in the car and it sounds good for just headers 3inch pipes and spintech mufflers , i have since moved the exhust to the rear with tips but still sounds great.

I ran 2.5 x pipe setup with bullets, loved it! sounded great and ran almost identical ETs vs. open long tubes.

Long tube headers + True duals = worth it

exhaust manifolds make it sound like a dump truck...
