Went for a drive tonight to get a couple hard pulls. I have a 1/2 mile long onramp, 1 lane, goes over the Raleigh beltline near the fairgrounds. Turned around a few miles up and on the way back ran across a '39 Chevy coupe (pretty sure). Hell of a nice ride, awesome body restoration, from the tone sounded like a 327 swapped in. I pulled alongside in 4th and gave him a couple revs. He revved back and we pulled and lifted on each other a couple times and waved before I had to peel off for my exit. Nice to see rods like this still around- props to the guys who take the time for 70 year old cars...
