Default Chris1313 ram air on a 96 WS6 LT1

Does anybody know if the "Chris1313 Ram Air mod" has been done by anyone with a 96/97 WS6 Ram Air car? If anyone knows of a LT1 WS6 ram air car that has done this mod please direct me to it. I'm seriously considering this if I don't have to hack up my car. I would want to keep A/C so I guess this would be the A/C version of the "chris1313 RA".

There are a few on here, I believe Larry at speed inc has it. You obviously need the lid conversion and to cut your radiator support

I'd just stick to the factory ram air setup with a K&N filter. It works good.

I want to go wit the chrs1313 set up but not sure if it will clear a WS6 hood without hacking it up. Every single car that has it done has gained with it.

I would only do it if I could keep A/C and no hacking at all of my car.

You can do the lid conversion with no hacking, but you will have to cut the radiator support to install the ram air

Really, can you provide me some pics of your setup? I would really like to see how this fits on a 96/97 LT1 Ram Air car. There seems to be a lack of good write-ups or pics for these particular cars.

Do I just purchase a LS1 factory radiator cover and the LS1 lid of choice (I was actually thinking about the clear lid).

IMO an OEM RamAir is hard to beat...the money could be better spent

The stock scoops are too far back and too low to provide much of a benefit.

That is what I've been thinking ever since I owned this car. I'm willing to bet that my car would pick up at least a 1/10th with the 1313 RA mod. If it does what most guys are saying it would be more like 2/10th and almost 2 mph. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but this mod really interest me. Does anyone know where I can get a mint LS1 (LID & Lower)?
