Default Weld RT-S ;) and Tire question

4.5'' backspace, awaiting my MWC Narrowed rear. Can't decide what tire and size to go with for a Heads/Cam car with Nitrous in the future. M6 car - would like some MT ET DRs so I can drive to the track and back without having to swap, but I hear that DRs are a no go on M6s. Those 325/50/15s look sick though!

My RT-Ss should be here Thrusday and I have a set of 325/50/15 ET Streets... there are two guys locally (M6 cars) that have had good luck with them, so Im going to try them out.

x 5 billion. Those look great. I can't wait for my 10 bolt to break. Just my luck to get a 10 bolt that actually lasts.

Looks nice! i finally get to see mine this week. Installing my narrowed MWC 9, along with the RTS polished wheels, over the next 7 days while I am off.

Got a pic from the front? does it 'tuck at all? or is it flush?

Thanks man My car needs to be aligned, camber is off quite a bit. Its flush on one side but on the other its tucking into the fender.

Looks great man! I'd stick with a bias ply tire with the six speed. I drove my car to the track on ET Streets (bias ply- non radial) with no issues, and drive it to my campground (45 minute highway ride) every weekend as well.

Thanks man.

^I was having such a hard time deciding on the tire and already ordered 325/50 DRs We will see how they work out, I can sell em worst case scenario (have alot of automatic stall'd LS1 buddies). Some guys in the Drag Racing subforum have gotten some nice nice 60' times with this size DR on their 6 speeds with a little clutch slip (Monster is in the works). And I don't go to the track enough to make it worth me trying to squeeze every 1/10th I can

I am running 295's on 4.5 bs rts's and a 3" per side MWC also- and when fitting the wheels/tire today- we had to cut off the bump stop mount and do some hammering in the same area. but I haven't heard a single scrub while driving it this afternoon.

No pics of the cut bump stop- but here's a crappy phone pic of the stance- I love it.

BTW- nice jack...I have one just like it but in blue.LOL(the reflection on your car...)

I saw the post, looks really good. How long did it take your MWC to come in? I've been waiting 5 weeks.

~2 months... by the time everything showed up...And I skipped the powdercoating. They said their welder injured himself building mine- and that slowed things down, whatever. I have it now- it all seem REALLY well built- and so far, it is pretty quiet.
