Default What Rings For Boosted 370

Im builting a boosted 370 and am debating what piston rings to use...Im going to order from speedinc. Motor will be fully built with ported 243 heads and a tvs1900. Im between "Diamond Pro Select Piston Rings" and "Total Seal Advanced Profiling Rings" Im not going to be boosting over 10lbs but might spray it with meth..What do you guys runn?

For boost applications the Total Seal are the best way to go. Those particular rings work well for anything from mild N/A builds up to 1000+hp setups. 10 PSI is nothing crazy and either ring would work if tuned perfectly, but detonation can kill the other rings (plasma-moly) pretty quick. Steel rings tend to take a ton more abuse. The only drawback is the longer break-in period for full ring seal, and that isn't even too big of a deal.

Are you going to file fit the rings and also you want a ring that can withstand high heat and pressure also cheap rings will tend to flutter giving you an insuffcient seal in the cylinder by a good set the first time its worth the investment Sealed Power makes a good set
