Default Feel like I wasted money on the rebuild this week.

Last week my BMR K frame, upper and lower control arms came in. Yeah they look pretty but I feel like I just wasted a grand that could've been spent elsewhere. A $1000 just to shave off maybe 30 lbs and gain header clearance? Could've lost 30 lbs just yanking the back seat.

Stoopid impulse shopping move

and wait till you have to do anything to the engine from the bottom. You'll love it. I have no regrets from a maintenance perspective. drop the oil pan is a snap, plugs, headers, etc...look at it as paying forward for all the time you'll save down the road. the bonus is the weight savings!

This. TONS of room to work around the motor now. Extremely beneficial to have that $1K invested in those pieces, way more than just weight savings.

I agree with these guys, I wish I had those pieces for sure. They Look better, they're lighter (weigh off the front end too, big deal) , you have more room

It'll be a breeze to do spark plugs, wires, more elbow room for opti, the list goes on!

or you could lose 30 lbs jogging a few miles. it all honesty, this is why i REFUSE to buy tubular k members and a-arms. its just not worth a grand to me to lose 30 lbs. i'll stick to my stock ones that are getting powdercoated for free

the clearance for repairs/mods ,the extra camber & caster adjustment ,weight loss are all well worth it...i can literally do repairs from the bottom on anything 100percent eaiser with the set up...you'll love it if you turn your own wrenches

front suspension will react faster also..

do the aftermarket k-members for the f-bodies drop the crank centerline any?

i did a k-member in a 93 cobra for a guy years ago, seems like the crank centerline was dropped 1inch with the aftermarket k-member and trans mount...

i think it might have been a umi or maybe umr k-member and trans mount, cant remember for sure, its been a while..

I wouldn't waste my time cleaning, taking off the old brake lines... Even if its powdercoated itll still'look ugly and be heavy junk. Tubular front end FTW!!!
