Default auto transmission problems

i have an automatic 99 z28 camaro that suddenly is not shifting automatically like its supposed to. i have to let off the gas in order for it to shift. it has to be over 3000 rpms and when i let off the gas it drops down to 2500 then shifts. and if i punch the gas hard the car acts like its in neutral bc the cars rpms will rise but the car is not accelerating unless u are at lower rpms...i checked the TPS and it was functioning properly at the right voltage so i am stumpped as of now. any suggestions on what to do?

i just had mine completly rebuilt new converter and all just put it back in the car this past saturday and it did it right out the gate. took it to the guy who built it and he said it seems like an electrical issue. i also called performabuilt and the guy there also said the same thing.
