Nitrous Oxide - Nitrous Fuel related question

I was on here or another site and came across this guy who rigged up a wet fuel system. basically, instead of relying on his stock pump to supply his injectors and the wet NOS, he dropped the tank, pulled the pump out, about about 6 inches away from it drilled a 3/4" hole for a 90 degree AN fitting and a siphon tube (for in the tank), from the fitting a hose ran to an external fuel pump then up to a regulator in the engine compartment, with a return line back to the tank. from the reg he ran a 6an hose to the fuel solenoid.

He obviously put the stock pump back in and everything, but it was just another way to avoid buying the 600dollar stand alone fuel tank and pump.

or if anyone wants to shed light on this idea?

I personally don't remember a thread on here like that...or at least recently. You could hook up the fuel system for the nitrous kit that way if you wanted.
