Default new best on street tires. 7.77

it was interesting today showed up at the track just to watch/hang out and as i pay my entrance fee they tell me its free to race today... so like any normal person i told them HELL YEA! lol anyway i didnt have the et streets on so i figured i could try to break into the 7's with the street tires. On the et streets best so far is 1.60 for 60' and a 7.37 in the 1/8th. Well i managed to get a little traction today (after my first run and 1/8th mile burnout) and finagled a 7.77 with a 1.80 60'! Problem wasnt getting out of the hole, problem was mid track. It was cold about 50º and these tires hate all the rubber layed down on the track. Never really could go full throttle until the last part of second gear. heres a vid of some of the mid track fun.. haha not the 7.77 run...

Not bad, they had a street tire shoot out at a track out here, and one guy got his malibu to run a 6.53 on a mastercraft radial. Pretty impressive

thanks guys

yea thats pretty crazy to run a 6.5 on street tires! im sure if i had a suspension setup for drag racing the street tires would hook a lot better, plus these tires are 5 years old with 30,000 miles on em lol..
