i found a real clean 01 TRUE WS6 T/A for $8000 with 91,000 miles it has exhaust,headers and a cam auto trans,but i never purchased a car with a cam what should i look for? i mean whats the realiability of a LS1 motor with a cam installed? i just wanna know before i make the deal

It doesnt sound like too bad of a price. I would just check for reciepts of the parts/work, and go over the car REALLY REALLY well. When work is done to a car your never can tell how well or properly the work was completed.

Listen for engine noises that are out of the ordinary. Look at all receipts, and maybe even call the shop that did the work and talk to them about it.

thanks guys,when i was told the car had a cam i was a little skeptikal i know $8,000 sound nice but for a 01 WS6 with decent miles but i rather spend my money wisely,i might dont mess with it though because my first mind saying pass on it
