Default Starter runs to long on 2007 MCSS

I having a problem with my 07MCSS with starter running to long. I have the car in shop now for the tranny problems that happen with this SS. The SS only has 26K on it will the power train warranty cover any problems with starter issues.

If not, your bumper to bumper warranty will since you're under 36,000 miles.

I am second owner and the bumper to bumper 3yrs/36000 was over in June.
The wife drive the SS and says its does it quite often and it has done it to me with different levels in gas. The service writer says it could be fuel injectors leaking down and he says to run some injector cleaner.

I thought our cars had a feature where you can't "overcrank" the starter. I had an issue earlier on with no start conditions after holding the key down forever and that's what was described to me on here.
