Cool New to the world of LS7

Hello!

I'm the new owner of a 2007 LS7 motor that I plan on putting in my 1978 Trans Am.

I'm looking to keep it streetable and occasionally hit the strip.

Looking at a Tremec 5 speed transmission.

But that's as far as I know.

Need advice on a header/cam package, air intake, and I assume someplace to get it tuned to eek out the horses out of it.

Seems Kooks/ARH/Livernois/LG seem to have followers on the Internet. (I have no experience with any of these.)

It's not my built up 400 ci or the 5.6L I have in my Nissan Titan.

Any help suggestions?

Looking forward to getting schooled!

You are making me jealous with your car, and the motor going in it. Good luck with the swap.

Thanks-I have a lot to do to get it installed and to get the sound and drivability I want.

Oh, and the wife has to learn how to drive a manual transmission!

I have always wanted a 79 trans am, white with blue bird. Then I would have a reason to finally grow a mullet and buy a jean jacket!
