Default Parking Brake adjustment on 94 z

Got a buddy who has a 94 z28 and the parking brake needs adjusting. I know how to do it on the ls1 cars but have no clue on the lt1 cars. I know the adjustment is on the caliper just not for sure where. Right now I can pull the lever all the way back and push the car.

That is a retarded statement and not helpful to the OP or the discussion at hand.

There is a tiny set screw that adjusts the "grab plate" on each rear caliper. The grab plate is a plate with a hole in it and when the e-brake handle is pulled, the grab plate grabs the pusher shaft behind the inner pad to apply pressure. When the normal pedal brake is used, the pusher shaft behind the pad slides within the grab plate. The adjustment is very sensitive so you will have to play with it to get it right.

What makes things worse is the shaft and the grab plate will wear and therfore require adjustments from time to time. Also the set screw is very small and like to get frozen so be careful breaking it loose. Might want to put some anti-sieze on it.

The parking brake design for LT1 brakes is total ****. Thats one reason I went to LS1 brakes.

Parking Brakes are for those of us with T56 cars and have to use them to park at running idle.

If you didnt drive an Autofaggot you would've figured that out.

Logical initial response, then dropped to the stupidity of the comment you responded to...

As slow as the day is long. No, you've pretty much been on quiet time. New sig and from the looks of your posting mannerisms, your mouth is back. Low 10's, right? Isn't that what you've promised to run with this setup?

The silver one is just as big of a turd as the red one Merv...im sure its gotta be a mid 10 sec car by now...making 550 unproven rwhp.
