Default help! the 5.3 in my truck has high oil pressure!
I was driving today and leaned on it a little and when i did the oil pressure shot to 80psi. What gives?

sounds like a relief valve problem, or out of adjustment.

What oil brand and weight, and what ambient temp was it?

Its got mobile one synthetic 5-30 and i dont have oil temp guage but water temp was 200 degrees which is normal
