Default Noob with an import and LS3 Swap

With most forums, an introduction is a formal courtesy, so here is mine. I've been lurking this site for most of the year trying to learn as much as possible about the LSx motors while having my swap done.

I have a 2001 Miata that I've owned since new. I put a turbo in it in 2003 and was very happy with ~ 250 RWHP. Attended an event a little over a year ago and saw a Miata with an LS1 in it and instanly knew this is what I wanted.

While I do most of my mechanical work, this swap was something I knew I would never finish. Consequently I went a turnkey route with a company that specializes in LSx swaps for Miatas. I've had the car for two months now and have absoutely no regrets putting this motor in the car. It is nothing short of amazing and is a perfect marriage of handling and power.

Torque is a wonderful thing
