Default Lt1 t/a first time at the track what do you think about the times?

Idk I just wanted to see what you guys thought about the car is it slow or what? 95 trans am 150k, 6spd, k/n, airfoil, cat delete, borla exhaust, I've been driving this car for about two months and I'm not saying I'm a beast but I think I throw the gears fine I didn't miss or anything.

It ran a 9.393 @ 78 with a 60 ft of 2.364 on my best pass of the night. Car is on 225's out back regular street tires and was spinning like hell by the time I dropped the pressure on them I got one pass in and it hooked amazing but I missed third soo idk what that would have been. I was launching it at about 3k. But just wanted to see what are everyones thoughts. Its 1/8th mile track in miami fl

That 60 is really bad. Get some drag radials or launch at a lower rpm.

Practice, practice, practice. Just get yourself familiar with the car and there shouldn't be a reason why you can't run under 9 sec in the 1/8th...even on street tires. No need to dump the clutch, just walk it out.

If I dump it any lower than 3k it bogs around for a sec and I didn't wanna risk hurting the clutch that bad by easing out.

You need to figure out what launch rpm will work best for you car with the street tires or you can get drag radials and leave at the rpm your at.

Some drag radials and a driver mod will do you the best! Go out and find u a black top and practice your launches! Thats what I did! Heck...I still do it!
